ABOUT US
HUB Connect was founded by Amanda Corbitt Martinez and Dr. J. Alonzo in 2015. The mission and vision was to create an organization and ministry of love and compassion, along with connecting resources to people and people to resources. Our hope is to impact the families and youth of the community while continuing to invest into our future generations, both locally and internationally.
AMANDA CORBITT MARTINEZ
Co-Founder
Amanda Corbitt Martinez is a native Austinite who has worked 20+ years for global, high tech companies holding management positions in finance, accounting, and operations. Her success in the corporate world is in direct correlation to her relationship with God and applying principles she has learned through the Word of God. Amanda graduated from St. Edward's University with a degree in Financial Accounting. She has led multiple local outreach programs and international mission and humanitarian trips for the past 20 years. By telling her story, her hope is to equip and empower those who are struggling and suffering, with the love and strength of God, guiding them to a deeper understanding of their value and worth, along with sharing what has allowed her to overcome, which is her relationship with Christ. Amanda is the proud mother of a 17yr old daughter who is the lead singer for the HubConnect's Worship team.
CHAPLAIN
DR. J. ALONZO
Co-Founder
Dr. J. Alonzo grew up in old East and Southeast Austin, Texas.
He received his education at UTAustin, Latin American Bible Institute (L.A.B.I.), Southwestern AG University, and Liberty University, accomplishing three undergraduate degrees, two Masters degrees, and a Doctorate degree.
He has played an active role in missions and humanitarian work in various parts of the world alongside incredible teams and organizations, bringing love and care to the suffering and hurting. As a former college athlete, he has utilized sports as an avenue to engage youth and their families, allowing opportunities to share life lessons and skills, along with the transformational hope and love of Jesus.
